2020 has been a wild year in general due to the coronavirus, but when you look at "The Year in Storms", you'll see just how wild it has become.

The Year from Hell broke another record today in the weather department: the 29th named storm of the season has formed.

KATC TV3 Chief Meteorologist Rob Perillo has the scoop:

"Theta" is its name, and it's centered near 40W and 30N (closer to Africa than North America). Theta is the 29th named storm of the 2020 Hurricane Season, setting a record for the most named storms in a year (in recorded history).

Kobe, COVID, election, hurricanes, Trebek, mass exodus from Facebook to Parler - 2020, would you just knock it off, please?
