2012 Marshland Festival Lineup — Also Named A Top 20 Tourist Event
The Marshland Festival has been named a top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society. The Marshland Festival prides itself putting on a festival that is fun for the entire family and to raise money for the youth of Hackberry and surrounding communities.
The Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau announced that the Marshland Festival won the award. Also, we have now got the 2012 Marshland Festival entertainment lineup and here it is!

The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) recently honored the Marshland Festival as a 2012 Top 20 Event for the month of July.
The festival helps to raise funds for 14 schools and church organizations and features exhibits, games, arts and crafts booths, food, live entertainment and is a tribute to the marshes that are famous in the Southwest Louisiana area and along the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road. The festival offers a great way to experience authentic Louisiana culture, food and music and will be held July 27-28th at the Lake Charles Civic Center.Events are selected from each of the following STS member states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
