19th Annual Duck Off Set For Saturday In Hackberry

It has become a staple in Hackberry and this Saturday is the 19th annual Duck Off.  What is the Duck Off you ask?

Well in South Louisiana we love our outdoors and this festival celebrates that complete will shooting skills and a cook off.  You know we like shooting shoot our shotguns and practicing our skills on some skeet and that is what you will do this Saturday.

The events for this years Duck Off include:

Cook Off 

9:00 a.m. -- Skeet Shooting

10:00 a.m. -- Quarter Bingo

2:00 p.m. -- Washer Board Tournament

6:00 p.m. -- Duck Cook Off awards Cash prizes

Then after winners are announced they will have Silent and Live Auctions and a DJ.

The 19th annual Duck Off is taking place at the Hackberry Community center this Saturday, Jan. 28th.
