Two Bodies Found In Lake Charles Near St. Patrick Hospital

An investigation is underway to find out what happened at a Lake Charles residence near St. Patrick Hospital. The authorities say it was grisly when they arrived on the scene of a home located on Engleside Street. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department responded to a call of two bodies being found in the private residence around 12:30pm Tuesday afternoon. Since the incident occurred within the city limits, the ongoing investigation has been turned over to the Lake Charles Police Department.

The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time and it's unclear who discovered the bodies or made the emergency call. According to KPLC News, the authorities have launched an active investigation but indicated fowl play could have played a role in their deaths.
