One Twitter user is seeing a lot of action on his account this morning over a tweet that he posted weeks ago.

It's no secret that we live in the age of conspiracy theories and absolutely NOTHING is off-limits. Less than 12 hours after President Donald Trump announced that he and the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19, the idea that Trump is "faking" this whole coronavirus thing as a way to gain a political advantage in the presidential is running rampant on social media.

Again, I must stress that this climate of skepticism and distrust in just about any and everything (even when it comes directly from a sitting U.S. President) is somehow more normalized than ever and this tweet from @JohnCammo back on September 18 has only doused lighter fluid on the hotbed of conspiracy theories that surround Trump's recent COVID-19 diagnosis.

The tweet went from being virtually unknown to being retweeted and quoted thousands of times in a few short hours as the collective internet obsesses over Trump's confirmation that he and First Lady Melania tested positive for the coronavirus.

Conspiracy isn't the only reaction in the wake of President Trump testing positive for COVID-19. There has been a solid mixture of shock, sympathy, curiosity, well wishes, and even happiness over the announcement that came shortly after midnight on Friday morning. Even Trump's biggest opponent wished him and his wife the best as they prepare to battle the coronavirus.

We do know that Vice President Mike Pence and his wife have tested negative (for now) and President Trump and the First Lady quarantined immediately after learning they had COVID-19.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest confirmed information surrounding this story.
