Celeb barber Marcus Harvey, and fashion designers Dalen Spratt and Juwan Mass are known as The Ghost Brothers. They have a hit show answering the call for help on The Travel Channel investigating things that go bump in the night. The three best friends met in Atlanta at Clark University and discovered that they all had paranormal experiences. The show is both funny and interesting because it puts a different point of view on how African Americans see, understand, and deal with the paranormal and haunted locations.

Their combined interest in the paranormal led them to The Travel Channel and become paranormal investigators. Throughout the years the trio has helped folks get rid of unwanted guests by cleansing properties, praying for the dead to help them move on, and more.  One of their journeys into the unknown brought the famous ghostbuster team to Louisiana to investigate who's haunting the legendary Gothic Jail in DeRidder and why.

The was built in 1915 and is also known as “The Hanging Jail,” because two men were hung in the creepy jail back on March 9, 1928.  Joe Genna and Molton Brasseaux murdered their taxi driver, 45-year-old Joe Brevelle over $14. Brevelle was stabbed to death on August 28, 1926, 15 miles away from DeRidder in Pickering, Louisiana. Since, and his mutilated body was dumped in the log pound of an abandoned sawmill.

The Gothic Jail closed in 1984 and remained abandoned for decades until Beauregard Parish officials reopened it as a tourist attraction. Since then visitors, ghost enthusiasts, and paranormal investigators have toured the old jail in search of clues and a chance to contact the many spirits believed to be in the old haunted DeRidder jail. If you are one of the people who love to be scared out of your mind, this may be the place for you to check out this Halloween!
