Tyrann Mathieu In Rehab

Tyrann Mathieu is back in the headlines but this time it is for a positive reason. Tyrann who has been nicknamed the 'Honey Badger' passed his drug test at the NFL scouting combine in February and will enter the NFL Draft which begins Thursday night April 25th.

The Tyrann Mathieu saga continues.  ESPN is reporting that the "Honey Badger" Tyrann Mathieu says he will enter into the NFL Draft in 2013 instead of trying to return back to LSU next year.

What has happened to the Honey Badger?  First, he gets kicked of the LSU Football team then it was reported he was going to transfer to McNeese.  Then instead, Tyrann Mathieu entered a drug rehab in Houston and once he left there he registered back at LSU in the hopes of getting himself straight and possibly play for the Tigers next season. Reports are coming in that Tyrann Mathieu aka "The Honey Badger" will enroll at LSU tomorrow. Tyrone Mathieu announced in late August that Tyrann would not play football this season and was working on his issues with former NBA player John Lucas.  Seems now the issues maybe resolved and Tyrann is ready to go back to school.

So here is the Honey Badger Tyrann Mathieu's journey in a nutshell from the past two weeks.  Tyrann released from LSU on Friday August 10th then talks with the McNeese Cowboys that Friday night.  The national media then starts speculating that Tyrann will go back to LSU. Then last Friday August 17th, it was announced that Tyrann Mathieu had entered rehab in Houston, Texas.  Now a report is out tha

All week, we have all have been waiting on some form of an announcement to see where the "Honey Badger" will go play football this season after being dismissed from the LSU football team last Friday. Well the wait is over.  WVUE-TV in New Orleans is reporting that Tyrann Mathieu entered a rehab center on Monday in Houston and will not play football this season.
