Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys are coming back to Lake Charles and will be live in concert this Friday night, January 24th at Yesterdays Night club. Steve Riley had a pretty good year last year. Steve won his first Grammy award along with Wayne Toups and Wilson Savoy for the Band Courtbouillon back in February.

Cajun music superstar and Grammy award winner Steve Riley is celebrating his birthday today!  Steve has been in the Cajun music scene for a long time with his great sound and terrific songs.

The Grammy Award ceremonies were back in February and 'The Band Courtbouillon' which consists of Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy won the Grammy Award for ‘Best Regional Roots Music Album”. At the ceremony, Wayne Toups was on hand to accept the award but didn't get to keep the trophy.  That is because each Grammy award is handmade which takes a few months.  Well they were finally done and

It's the final day of the 2013 edition of the Iowa Rabbit Festival in Iowa, Louisiana and lineup of entertainment today is second to none! I will be broadcasting live this morning from the cook-off here on Cajun Radio starting at 10:00 a.m. and the music will start at 11:00 a.m. this morning with John Dale Hebert playing on the cook-off stage.  Then the music will be non stop till midnight tonight
