The 9th annual Cameron Fishing Festival is this weekend August 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Cameron Jetty pier.  This years festival boasts a big lineup of entertainment and great food with activities for the kids. Here is the schedule of events:

Steel Shot has a brand new album out called " Born in Creole Breeding Everywhere".  The name of the album should give you a pretty good indication of the personality of the band!

The 55th annual Contraband Days festival kicks off today for two weeks in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds. Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates will take over the city for two weeks packed full of great entertainment, carnival rides for the kids and lots of great food! Also, Saturday May 12th, Contraband Days will have Cajun and Zydeco bands playing all day into the night on the

Can you believe that Contraband Days is almost here?  Well it is!  Contraband Days this year is May 1st thru May 13th, 2012.
