Baby Emmy from Lafayette, Louisiana is battling cancer and she was allowed to throw out the first pitch at a recent UL Softball game.

Six Shreveport, LA area high school softball teams have made it to the state semi-finals and are ready to compete for a state championship in their respective divisions!

Congratulations to the Deridder Lady Dragons (Class 4A) and the Plainview Lady Hornets (Class C)! They are the LHSAA state softball champions!

The McNeese Womens Softball team season has been a good one and an example of that is that they have qualified for the SLC Tournament.
