Monday May 21st began the "Click it or Ticket It" campaign nationwide and the Louisiana State Police came by yesterday to fill us in on why it is important to wear your seat belt. Sgt. James Anderson with the Louisiana State Police had some great tips for you and we wanted to pass them along.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is having a seat belt checkpoint somewhere in the parish.  The reason they do this is to save lives.  So make sure that you wear your seat belt not just Thursday but everyday.
