Road Closures

A turnaround will be temporarily implemented for southbound traffic on 5th Avenue as they remove and replace a bridge.

The Louisiana State Police has released an updated list of road closures in the South Louisiana area.

Sgt. James Anderson, of the Louisiana State Police Public Affairs Unit, stopped by to give listeners an update on road conditions and closures in the state.

There will be a temporary road closure beginning on Wednesday, June 22 for Sallier Street. Get more details here for how long the closure will last.

There will be two temporary lane closures beginning on Wednesday, May 25.

On Thursday, May 12, there will be a temporary closure at the railroad crossing located alongside Railroad Avenue & Kirkman Street.

The southbound lane of the 4100 block of Ryan Street will be temporarily closed, beginning Thursday, May 12, at 6 a.m., to allow construction work on a sidewalk.

Expect delays going westbound on I-10 over the Calcasieu River Bridge today. The right lane will be closed for inspection from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The 2500 Block of 10th Street, will be closed temporarily starting Monday, Jan. 11. The project is estimated to last approximately five days.

There will be a lane closure at the northbound lane of the 4000 block of Ernest Street, on Tuesday, December 29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
