The Sulphur Mardi Gras parade will roll Thursday, February 7th, at 7PM. It was rescheduled due to inclement weather on Saturday.

The countdown is on to Fat Tuesday (2/28)! Parades and chicken runs are scheduled throughout southwest Louisiana, and we don't want you to miss a minute of the purple, green and gold fun of Mardi Gras.

Though it is not a written law ... the city of St. Martinville has banned "rap music with vulgar lyrics" from it's Mardi Gras parade. This has upset the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana.
