McNeese Women's basketball

The McNeese Cowgirls basketball team just kicked off their 2014-2015 campaign and will be at home for the 3rd straight game of the year in Lake Charles tonight to take on LSU-Alexandria in the Burton Coliseum.

Even though football season is still going on, it is also time for basketball season! The McNeese men's basketball team will play their first home game of the season tonight in Lake Charles inside the Burton Coliseum.

I know we are in the final stretch of football season but when we do get towards the end of football season, here comes basketball season. Tonight the McNeese Men and Women's basketball teams is holding their annual sneak peek event in the Memorial Gym on the Campus of McNeese State University. The event is FREE and open to the public.

For the second straight year, the McNeese Women's Basketball has been invited to WBI Women's basketball tournament. The Cowgirls will be in action tonight at 6:00 p.m. against Northern Kentucky and you can hear all the action here tonight! Last year, the Cowgirls made it all the way to the championship game.

The McNeese State women's basketball team won 78-73 over sixth seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi yesterday in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament.

The McNeese Cowgirls open the Southland Conference Tournament this afternoon against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  The game will be in Katy, Texas and will tip off at 1:30 p.m. Want to hear all the action?
