Matt Viator

In a report that has not been substantiated yet by McNeese State University, a Monroe TV station is reporting that head football coach Matt Viator will be announced as UL-Monroe's new coach Tuesday morning.

Head Coach Matt Viator who is currently in the middle of his eighth season as the head coach of the McNeese Football program received a big honor yesterday. Coach Viator has been named a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award which honors the nation's top head coach in the Football Championship Subdivision or FCS.
