LSU Tigers Stadium

I found a video of an F-18 fighter jet making a flyover of Tigers Stadium in Baton Rouge during a home game for the LSU Tigers football team.

LSU Tiger stadium is usually lit up in all purple and gold lights but since the tragedy of the officers killed in the shooting on Sunday in Baton Rouge, Tiger stadium has been lit up in a blue lights. See a picture of it here.

The 2013 football season hasn't even started for the LSU Tigers football team but yesterday the team released the 2014 football schedule. Next seasons schedule for the Tigers includes seven home games and only four away games which includes a game on the road at Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night.

If you have ever been to Death Valley in Baton Rouge, you know how big the stadium is already. Well get ready Tiger fans, because it is about to get even bigger. A state financing panel has given their stamp of approval and now LSU can begin their planned expansion to Tiger Stadium.

Forty seven days LSU football fans!  That is how long we have to wait until kickoff for the first LSU football game. Today, LSU announced that the first three home football games will be under the lights at Tiger Stadium.
