Louisiana High School football

Teams from all over Southwest Louisiana went into the first round with high expectations but when the smoke cleared Friday night, there were only a few teams from the area left standing.

Tonight the bulldogs will face off against the Lake Arthur Tigers for the first time ever. Yeah I know can you believe that? I would have never thought it would be their first meeting ever since Jennings and Lake Arthur are so close together.

It's week four of the high school football season and the Barbe Buc's and the Jennings Bulldogs will both be in action tonight and both games will be aired right here on Cajun Radio.

The Jennings high school football team return back to Jerry Simmons stadium tonight and host the DeRidder Dragons in Jennings. The bulldogs will be looking to rebound from a loss a week ago to Eunice.

Charlie Williams and the CBC broadcasting crew will begin their 28th year of broadcasting Jennings football and it starts tonight as the 2015 high school football season gets underway. The Jennings Bulldogs will travel up to Kinder tonight to take on the Yellow Jackets who were the 2-A state runner ups last year.

This Friday night, the Bulldogs travel to take part in the 64th Lafayette Kiwanis Club Jamboree. The Bulldogs with play the Northside Vikings from Lafayette. You can listen to all the action here on Cajun Radio!

It's finally here! High School Football is back and it kicks off starting tonight with jamboree's all over Southwest Louisiana. This year, Cajun Radio will team up once again with Charlie Williams and CBC broadcasting for their 27th year of covering the Jennings High School Bulldogs.
