Legendary Swamp Pop singer and performer, G.G. Shinn is celebrating his birthday today. G.G. turns 75 today and is still rockin' the stages all over the country performing his legendary hits.

The 10th annual Cameron Fishing Festival began last night and continues today and tomorrow at the Cameron Jetty pier. The festival has a big lineup of entertainment today and great food with activities for the kids. Here is the schedule of events:
