DWI Checkpoint In Lake Charles

Tonight somewhere in the City of Lake Charles, The Lake Charles Police Department (LCPD) will be conducting a DWi checkpoint.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) will be hitting the streets tonight somewhere in the parish and setting up a combination DWi and Seatbelt checkpoint.

In an effort to keep our streets safe, the Lake Charles Police department will conduct a DWi checkpoints tonight September 26th and on Friday, September 27th. On Friday, the LCPD will join the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office to do a joint checkpoint in the Lake Charles metro area.
