Contraband Days festival in Lake Charles is set to start on May 4th, 2017 and new this year is that the festival has been condensed down to one week as far as the entertainment
Contraband Days 2013 is in full swing and is located on the Lake Charles Civic Center Grounds.
The festival started on Tuesday April 30th and will end this Sunday May 12th, 2013. Today, Cajun music will reign supreme featuring a all-star lineup of bands.
Update 8:30 a.m.-- All the concerts have been moved to inside the Civic Center Coliseum due to the threat of rain.
Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates will take over the city of Lake Charles tonight. They will force Lake Charles Mayor Randy Roach and other local area Mayors to walk the plank and it will mark the start of the two week festival known as Contraband Days.
The festival takes place in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds with carnival rides, food, events and entertainment.
Contraband Days 2013 kicks off this week and will go for two full weeks in Lake Charles. Contraband Days is located on the Lake Charles Civic Center Grounds.
The festival runs from Tuesday April 30th through Sunday May 12th, 2013. The Cajun music day will be on Saturday, May 13th featuring a all-star lineup of bands.
Contraband Days entertainment will be in full swing starting tonight May 4th and one of the performers tonight will be Ryan Andreas from "America's Got Talent".
