We can expect the I-210 bridge to be repaired a lot sooner than originally planned.

Driving across a rough railroad crossing is a much less common occurrence now than it was years ago. In an effort to continue this trend the railroad crossing on Fruge Street (Highway 90) will be replace on March 20, 2015. This will result in the road's closure for two days.

There is one sure way to get the interstate rebuilt. That is to put in a Casino. It is happening now on I-210 and tomorrow there will be lane closures.

The Louisiana State Police have sent out a warning about closures on I10 near Jennings. These closures will start at seven this morning

If you travel I-10 West to go to work downtown and take the Ryan Street exit ... you may want to plan a little extra time for your drive beginning Monday.

If your commute takes you down Sale road between Lake and Ryan ... you will need to take a different route beginning this Friday.

If you are planning on traveling east on Interstate 10 this weekend .... you will need to take an alternate route. I-10 will be closing for Bridge construction.

I'm sure you remember the traffic delays caused by the construction at the corner of Prien Lake Road and Ryan Street a while back. The intersection is much more user-friendly now but there were growing pains. Now the growing pains move downtown.

Morgan City's been working on getting their $3 million visitor's center since way before Hurricane Katrina.  And this week, about one month before it was finally scheduled for completion, it SANK five feet into the ground.  What the heck happened?

For months, Lake Street in Lake Charles has been closed as they repaved the road and fixed bridge that goes over Contraband bayou. I went by the intersection today around 3 p.m. and saw the workers removing the detour signs.
