Bossier City Community College has signed a new left handed pitcher and it's the first time in Louisiana history that a female has signed to play college baseball.

It seems that some in government think that the job of government is to control the people they govern. I understand laws that protect people; but don't understand laws that regulate our everyday lives. Worse than just passing the law is all the government spending it takes to enforce the law. Such a law is being proposed right here in Louisiana.

The McNeese Cowboys won their first game on the road against a FBS or 1-A school, Middle Tennessee, last Thursday 27-21.  That win got the McNeese Cowboys into the Top 25 polls this week.
