Police arrested the 15 year old's mother and her boyfriend at the scene of the accident in Baytown Texas after seeing that the child had severe injuries not sustained from the accident. Police say she was not only sexually abused but set on fire and shot more than once.

A Thibodaux couple has been arrested after authorities received reports of a vehicle driving recklessly on I- 10. The vehicle later crashed on the service road where Latonya Harris, 40, and her boyfriend, Terrence Washington, 41, were detained by officers.

Disturbing videos of children allegedly being cruelly mistreated at a daycare in Eunice have surfaced, causing widespread concern and anger on social media.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office arrested John Edward Thomas, 39, of Vidor, TX., on Thursday, September 27, for cruelty to a juvenile.

The Sheriff's Office received a  complaint about a young girl seen eating out of a trash can in Moss Bluff which resulted in the arrest of the  mother and grandmother of the child.
