Cajun Pawn Stars

Season 3 of the hit reality show "Cajun Pawn Stars" has begun filming in Alexandria.  The show is filmed inside of "Silver Dollar Pawn and Jewelry Center" in Alexandria and is owned by Jimmy DeRamus who is featured on the show.

  Last night, a new episode aired of the popular show "Cajun Pawn Stars" on the History channel and it featured legendary Cajun music artist Jo-EL Sonnier. On the show, someone had brought in a Monarch accordion to sell. The folks at Silver Dollar Pawn (The store in Alexandria, La that is featured in the show) did not know if it was a fake or the real deal so they called in an expert.  J

Last night, new episodes of Cajun Pawn Stars aired on the History Channel and David Little from Sulphur, Louisiana was featured on the show named "Gone Fishing". Little had a 1944 vintage Louisiana License plate he brought into the pawn shop to sell. Here is a few pictures from last nights show and how the sale of his license plate went.

The History Channel has announced that the reality show "Cajun Pawn Stars" will be back with all new episodes beginning Wednesday June 6th. The show features a pawn shop in Alexandria, Louisiana ran by Jimmy DeRamus and his family.

The History Channel premiered the spin off  "Cajun Pawn Stars" last week and I was reading that the stars of the original series "Pawn Stars" are pissed about the show. The worst part about it is that the "Pawn Stars" cast said they had no idea about the show.

The History Channel who has seen huge success with another show about Cajuns and Louisiana called "Swamp People" is now looking to cash in on the Louisiana reality show craze by debuting a new reality show called "Cajun Pawn Stars". Of course, the History Channel already has a series called "Pawn Stars" that is based out of Las Vegas and is a huge hit too.  This time
