Cajun Navy

The founder of the Cajun Navy has been arrested and booked into the Lafayette parish jail on theft charges.

It will be interesting to watch how the group was formed and see their accomplishments tonight on the Discovery Channel.

Jon Bridgers, credited as one of the founding members of the Cajun Navy 2016, is accused of taking more than $50,000 from a flood victim for uncompleted work.

Governor John Bel Edwards says the state is working with the Cajun Navy to coordinate efforts.

There are many Cajun Navy groups, and despite statements made by one of them, most are saying their rescue operations are running smoothly.

The famous Cajun Navy says it is currently standing down after receiving a hostile response in Houston, including 'looters' shooting at their boats.
