Cajun music's own Jo-El Sonnier won the 2015 Grammy award for "Best Regional Roots Music Album" for his CD "The Legacy" last night in Los Angeles.

Cajun music's own Jo-El Sonnier has been nominated for a Grammy award for his CD "The Legacy". He is one of five artists nominated in the "Best Regional Roots Music Album". This is Jo-EL's fourth nomination and hopefully this year he will bring home the hardware! Here are the nominees.

Legendary Cajun and Country artist Jo-El Sonnier has been in the business for well over 50 years now and he has had huge success on both the Cajun and national Country circuits. He was rewarded over the weekend with a Grammy nomination for his latest album.
