Brian H. Downing, the Alabama fan who was caught on video doing obscene things to a passed out LSU fan, went to court this morning in Orleans Parish. WWL in New Orleans is reporting that Downing plead guilty to Obscenity and received 2 years in prison.

Back in January, news spread about the Alabama Fan who allegedly sexually assaulted an LSU fan in New Orleans after the BCS national championship game after a video surfaced and went viral. Then in May, we reported that the suspect had been indicted on charges of sexual battery. Now the suspect, Brian Downing, 32 of Smiths Station, AL, is heading to court today to answer the charge.

Now there are reports that the Alabama fan in question is on his way to New Orleans with his attorney to turn himself in to authorities.

The Alabama Crimson Tide dominated the LSU Tigers and won the BCS National Championship.  Bama beat the Tigers 21-0. The Tigers never really got going and had a dismal 92 total yards of offense for the entire game.  The Tigers finish the season 13-1.

With the big game tonight, things are exploding all over the web and on Facebook.  We were sent this song and we thought it was just hilarious! It's a take of Doug Kershaw, Jimmy C. The #1 ranked LSU Tigers football team arrived at their hotel in New Orleans last night at 6 p.m. to a big crowd of fans. The Tigers didn't have far to go either. They left Baton Rouge for the 70 mile trip that took a little over an hour to get to the Big Easy!  The Tigers are getting geared up for the BCS National Championship Game on Monday January 9th against Alabama.
