Alligators

An emotional support animal was not allowed into a professional ballpark.

The dates have been set for Louisiana's annual alligator harvest lottery. The alligator harvest has been set for later this summer and early fall.

The weather in Louisiana is warming up and the big reptiles are on the move. Here's what you should know should you encounter an alligator in a place where it's not supposed to be.

Over the weekend, I emceed the Bayou Bash at the Prien Lake Mall.  The event was full of great food, carnival rides for the kids and live music. Horace Trahan and Damon Troy rocker the Bayou Bash and we also got a visit from R.J. and Jay Paul from the show "Swamp People".  I had a chance to interview the guys and this is just a little of what they had to say.

Cajun Radio's music is so good, we even draw gators out of the swamp to our back door.  Last night, we had an unexpected visitor to the studio, a 4 foot alligator.  Yep a real live gator just steps away from the Cajun Radio studio.
