2014 High School Football Playoff Schedules

Kinder high school's football team has been dominating their competition for the past two seasons. The proof is that the Kinder Yellow Jackets team is heading back to the state championship again and will look to win their 2nd straight title!

Tonight the Yellow Jackets are just one more win away from heading to New Orleans and playing for the 2-A State Championship again. They will first have to get through the #3 seeded Sterlington who is from Monroe, Louisiana. The game will be played in Kinder tonight at John C. Buck Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

So last Friday a bunch of teams from Southwest Louisiana received a playoff birth in the first round of the high school playoffs. That was the good news. The bad news? After the first round was played, only fourteen teams from the area survived to make it into round two of the playoffs which begins this Friday night.

So the regular season of high school football came to an end last Friday. Some teams are in and some teams season came to an end last week.  The LHSAA has released the playoff brackets and we have the line up of games for teams in Southwest Louisiana that will be in action tonight...
