Camille Bob or better know as "Lil Bob" died at the age of 77 on Monday from Cancer and will be laid to rest today in his hometown of Opelousas, Louisiana.  Camille "Lil Bob" was born in Arnaudville, Louisiana in 1937.

Lil Bob started his music career in the mid-1950's as drummer in a band.  He soon formed his own dance band, The Lollipops, and first recorded for Goldband Records here in Lake Charles in 1957.

The band became best known for their 1965 single "I Got Loaded".  Here is that video for the song:

On Monday, July 6th, 2015 Camillie Bob AKA "Lil Bob" passed away from Cancer.  He would have been 77.

Lil Bob funeral services will be held in his hometown of Opelousas, Louisiana on SaturdayJuly 11.  After a private family viewing, public viewing will be at 9 AM until 12:30 PM.
The actual funeral will take place at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
The public is also invited at 3 PM to a re-pass and  musical tribute by area musicians at the Opelousas Civic Center located at 2235 Creswell Lane in Opelousas.

Musicians are invited for a jam session at the re-pass starting around 2:30 PM.
