Saints, Cardinals To Kickoff 2012 NFL Preseason
The NFL has announced that the 2012 NFL preseason will begin when the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals clash in the Hall of Fame game in Canton Ohio. The NFL released this statement about the game:
The National Football League announced Wednesday that the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints will kick off the preseason on Sunday, Aug. 5, in the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The game will be televised nationally on NFL Network with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
This summer's game marks the fifth time the Saints have played in the Hall of Fame Game. They last played in Canton in 2007, in a 20-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and have an overall 1-3 record in the Hall of Fame Game series.
The NFL will not release the 2012 regular season schedule for at least a couple months now but we wanted to pass the information on to you Saint fans!
