Police Jury Offices Remain Open With Limited Services
Posted March 18, 2020, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury offices are open during normal business hours. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, services are limited because staffing has been scaled down. Residents are asked to use parish online services as much as possible or call (337) 721-4010.
All Calcasieu Parish Police Jury meetings have been canceled until further notice. Below is a list of what offices are open and the services available in the area:
*American Job Center
Allen and Vernon offices are closed.
*DeRidder April 8 Job Fair has been cancelled.
*Department of Animal Services and Adoption Center:
Officers will respond to emergency and high-priority calls.
Visit petharbor.com to report a lost pet, or call the shelter at (337) 721-3730 to make an appointment. Lobby has restricted and limited access.
Burton Complex facility and the Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center are closed until further notice.
Mosquito Control, Human Services, Public Transit and the Office of Juvenile Justice Services, including the MARC Center, are open.
All parks, boat launches, RV and tent camping facilities are open.

Public Works
Solid Waste Convenience Centers and Water/Sewer departments are open.
