Most New Orleans Saints fans are not really looking forward to the game today.  Probably because not only are the Saints a dismal 0-2 on the season but they are worried about the status of quarterback Drew Brees.

Will Drew play today?  And if he does, how will his shoulder hold up.  That is on the mind of all Saints fans.

So far this season, The Saints were beat up by the Arizona Cardinals in week one 31-19 and the defense looked horrible!  The defense didn't look any better last Sunday when the Saints lost to Tampa Bay at home 26-19 to fall to 0-2 on the season.

What is even worse was the Tampa game was an NFC South divisional game so with the loss, the Saints fell to 0-1 in the divisional race.  Well the Saints will have a even bigger task today when they play another divisional foe.

The Saints will take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers today.  The Panthers are 2-0 on the season.  Kickoff for the game is set for Noon and will be televised on FOX.  You can listen to the game starting with the pregame show which starts at 10:00 a.m. on our sister station Gator 99.5, the new home of Saints football in Southwest Louisiana.
