The New England Patriots team plane will return from China today with 1.2 million N95 masks for medical professionals.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the transfer from China was the result of negotiations and the Massachusetts governor asked the Patriots to help get supplies back to his state.

The Journal also reports that The Kraft family paid $2 million, about half the cost, to acquire the masks. According to reports, they couldn't fit all of the masks they ordered on this enormous jet, so more on the way.

ESPN reports that 300,000 of the masks are going to New York to help combat COVID-19. If you're wondering how long the plane was down in China, for only three hours and staff on the plane was not allowed to exit.
