Moms, Carnivals and Crime — This Week’s Poll Results

We are always curious about how you think. That's why we ask you to answer our polls. This weeks polls reveal a lot about Mother's Day, Carnival rides and the way you feel about the death penalty.

It's Contraband Days and that means the carnival is in town. Have you ever been sick on a carnival ride? According to our poll a lot of people think this condition could be in their future. The question was "Have you ever thrown up on a carnival ride?" 37% of you said "not yet."

Our next poll was also timely. The Boston Bombings brought the death penalty back into the foreground. We wondered how you felt about it. This was not even close.  The large majority (84%) answered "yes" when ask "Are you in favor of the death penalty?"

Now let's talk moms. We ask moms"what do you want for Mother's Day?" The majority of moms simply want to have their family together for Mother's Day (54%.)
