The 2016 McNeese Football program is set to kick off the new season at Cowboys stadium this Saturday night, and will take on Tarleton State here in Lake Charles.

The McNeese Athletic department has announced that a few new changes have been made for game day, and one will help families with young kids wanting to attend the games but who just couldn't afford to buy extra tickets.

One of the major changes for this season will be free admission to kids 12 years or younger with a paid adult ticket. However, a game ticket will still be required for kids to enter the game. Children tickets can be picked up at the ticket office any day during office hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) through Friday or beginning at noon on Saturday.

The adult picking up kids' tickets must show proof of an adult ticket that was already purchased if not purchasing at the same time of the visit.

Gates will open at Cowboy Stadium at 4:30 p.m this Saturday and kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
