McNeese Football Game Against Nichols October 1 To Be Televised

The McNeese Cowboys football team are looking to regroup this week and focus on the task at hand this Saturday when they travel to San Antonio. The pokes lost 31-28 last Saturday at home to Stephen F Austin, to drop to 1- 2 on the season.

To be fair though, the Cowboys played a tough UL Ragin' Cajuns team in Lafayette and almost won that game, which means the pokes could easily be 2-1 on the year.

We have also found out that the McNeese/Nichols State game slated for October 1st in Lake Charles will be televised. The game will carry a 6:00 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on CST, which is channel 57 here in Lake Charles if Suddenlink is your cable provider.

The pokes will take on Incarnate Word this Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
