McNeese Cowboys Report To Fall Football Camp Today

Football is almost her Cowboy fans.  I know I am excited too.  The McNeese Cowboys football team report to fall camp today to get ready for the upcoming 2015 football season.

Sports information director for McNeese Matt Bonnette said,

Newcomers will report at 8:30 a.m. and will be assigned their equipment before sitting in compliance and academic meetings. Position meetings will follow in the late morning and early afternoon before the veterans report at 4.

The day will wrap up with team and position meetings in the evening.

 

The team will hit the field for the first time at 4:30 on Thursday and will slip on the shoulder pads for the first time at Saturday afternoon's practice. The first practice in full pads will be Monday afternoon.

 

The McNeese Cowboys open up the regular season on the road when they travel to Baton rouge to take on the LSU Tigers in death valley.  The game is set for Saturday, September 5th, 2015 with the kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.
