McNeese And LSU’s Football Game To Be Televised On SEC Network’s Alternate Channel
In 2010, the McNeese Cowboys football team made a trip down I-10 to Baton Rouge and took on the LSU Tigers in death valley. I think the entire city of Lake Charles was there. I saw the mayor of Lake Charles and other dignitaries from Lake Charles plus so many people I knew.
Well Cowboy and Tiger fans, it is happening again. McNeese will head to Baton Rouge again to kick of their football season and take on the LSU Tigers on Saturday, September 5th in Tigers Stadium.
Expect to see everyone you know tailgating even if they don't have a ticket. It's all about the pregame! Tickets for the game won't go on sale until July but we did find out that the game will be televised.
Matthew Bonnette who is the Sports Information Director for McNeese told us that the game on September 5 will have a 6:30 p.m. Central time kickoff in Tiger Stadium and will be televised on the SEC Network’s alternate channel.
So get ready LSU and Cowboy fans, it is going to be an event!
