The oldest and coldest festival in Louisiana begins tonight and goes through tomorrow on January 9th and 10th in Cameron, Louisiana.

The Louisiana Fur & Wildlife Festival in downtown Cameron, Louisiana is full of outdoor activities, carnival rides, food and great entertainment.

The first festival in December of 1955 and even though it was really really cold the festival was a huge success. Now fast forward 59 years later and the Fur and Wildlife Festival is back.

Tonight Leroy Thomas and Waters Edge headline the night of entertainment and then on Saturday you will see live music from John Dale Hebert, Grammy Award winner Chubby Carrier and the Bag of Donuts perform live.
