Former Cajun Music star Hunter Hayes, known for his big hit "I'm Just six years old", has made the move to Country Music and made his national TV debut last night on the CMT Awards last night playing his current single "Storm Warning."

Hunter Hayes was born in Breaux Bridge, La in 1991 and  began his career at an early age.  At the age of just 4 years old, Hunter played in front of over 200,000 people with Hank Williams Jr. playing his according and singing "Jamabalya".

At six years old, he was in the Movie " The Apostle" and also performed with Johnny and June Cash along with Charlie Daniels at a BBQ at the White House for Former President Bill Clinton.

Hunter also released hit song "I'm Just Six Years Old" which was a huge hit in Louisiana.

Two years ago, Hunter made the move to Nashville and was quickly signed to Universal Nashville where he co-wrote songs for Rascal Flatts and Montgomery Gentry.

At the same time he was introduced to the CEO of Atlantic Records CVraig Kallman who signed Hunter to Atlantic Records.

Last night, Hunter made his first Live performance debut on the CMT Awards playing his current single "Storm Warning".

Hunter is also going on tour this fall and opening up for Taylor Swift.  WOW from Cajun Music to Country Music, watch out for Hunter in the next few years.
