Lake Charles Police Department Conducting Seatbelt Checkpoint Thursday Night May 22nd

The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting a seat belt checkpoint somewhere in the city this Thursday night May 22nd.  The checkpoint begins at 4:00 p.m. and lasts until 9:00 p.m. tonight.

In conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, the Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting a seatbelt checkpoint on May 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at an undisclosed location inLake Charles. This is an effort to support the “Click it or Ticket” campaign that is currently underway.

Be careful out there and make sure to wear your seatbelt.  Buckle up or get a ticket!
