Lake Charles Police Department Conducting Seatbelt And DWI Checkpoints

The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting a seat belt and DWI checkpoints starting tonight and going through next weekend.

The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting a seatbelt checkpoint on July 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at an undisclosed location in Lake Charles.

 

The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting DWI checkpoints on July 22 and July 24, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at undisclosed locations inLake Charles.

 

In conjunction with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, there will also be a checkpoint on July 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at an undisclosed location inLake Charles.

 

Be careful out there and make sure to wear your seatbelt and designate a driver. Buckle up or get a ticket!
