The Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA announced that applications for the “Lake Charles Partnership Grant” 2022 - 2023 fiscal year are now available. For more details and a full list of guidelines, visit the Arts & Humanities Council website at artscouncilswla.org/grant-opportunities/city-of/. This grant program is spearheaded by the City of Lake Charles to expand exposure to the arts by providing local organizations and community groups with an opportunity to develop their art programs in the city.

Visual Arts and Crafts

Grants for up to $3,000 are available for project assistance with events and for funds to help arts organizations with operating expenses like salaries and supplies. The assistance is effective between April 2022 and March 2023. To qualify for a grant, an organization must be located and hold its event within the Lake Charles city limits.
