Kinder Man Wins Brand New Car In McDonalds Monopoly Game

A trip to a McDonalds restaurant in Kinder has paid off for one local man. After getting his order, the local Kinder, Louisiana man found the Monopoly piece he was looking for and won a brand new Nissan Z car.

Wow not bad just for going to get something to drink huh? Here is how it all happened.

Franklin Francois is now the proud owner of a brand new car! A Nissan Z no less!

Franklin Francois of Kinder, Louisiana never thought that when he ordered a Real Fruit Smoothie from his local McDonald’s restaurant, it would turn out to be a life-changing order. Despite the fact that there were 1 in 4 odds of winning with the MONOPOLY Game at McDonald’s last year, he, like many, was doubtful that they would actually snag one of the winning MONOPOLY game pieces.

But after peeling the Instant Win game piece and taking home a new Nissan Z, however, he knows anyone can be a winner in the 2011 MONOPOLY Game at McDonald’s!

The award presentation will take place at Nissan of Lake Charles on Friday, March 9 at 2 p.m.

“The game this upcoming Fall (2012) will mark the 20th year of Monopoly at McDonald’s,” said Doug Gehrig, McDonald’s Franchisee in Lake Charles. “We look forward to all of Lake Charles now playing Monopoly at McDonald’s because they could be the next big winner. Let’s start an annual winning tradition!” said Gehrig.
