Today U.S. Representative John Lewis is laid to rest. Former Presidents Barack Obama, George Bush, and Bill Clinton, Rev. James Lawson Jr. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi , Rev. Warnock, and many others eulogize Lewis in the legendary Ebenezer Baptist Church. How fitting that his going home service is held at the church his longtime friend, Dr. Martin Luther King, once pastored in Atlanta, Georgia.

A hero of the civil rights era and champion of love, he served this nation with greatest integrity, honor, and respect for all.
