Austin, Texas Police Arrest Four In Alleged Thievery Of Victoria’s Secret
Four Texans in the city of Austin have been placed under arrest after they attempted to run off with nearly $57,000 in amount of merchandise. Here are the latest details.
Four Arrested After Discovery Of Victoria's Secret Items In Homes
According to the Austin Police Department, law enforcement first begin looking into this "Organized Retail Theft" in September of 2024. Per the department, inquiries dealt with a Victoria's Secret located in Austin, Texas. The store had unfortunately been robbed over 12 times, which led to a high loss of revenue overall.
Through the investigation, an inspector with Victoria’s Secret's Organized Retail Crime was able to identify persons of interest in the thefts. They were all taken into custody, and face different charges.

Name: Angelica Chavez
Age: 24
Charges: Multiple Felony Counts of Theft
Name: Joe Garcia
Age: 37
Charges: Multiple Counts of Felony Theft and Robbery by Threat
Name: Lisa Vasquez
Age: 30
Charge: Felony Count of Organized Retail Theft
The Austin Police Department also revealed that following department's obtaining of two search warrants for residences, items alleged to be taken were found. In total, $57,000 in total from over 2,000 items professed to be stolen were discovered. The purported illegally obtained items also came from 40 different stores.
