Woman Horrified to Find Huge Spiders in Her Boiled Crawfish
One woman and her family got quite the shock when they discovered numerous, huge spiders in their boiled crawfish.
We're not talking a few tiny little spiders, we're talking spiders almost as big as some of the crawfish in the pot, and there were many.
Imagine boiling up a few pounds of crawfish at home along with some shrimp in the pot and potatoes, then when you begin to take the crawfish out of the pot to eat you realize there's something else that has been cooking...spiders.
Yep...big ole spiders too.
Well, unfortunately this happened to one family.
The viral video, originally posted to TikTok by Archelle (@oatsfinessinn), you'll see as she slowly, and carefully pulls out a total of seven big brown spiders out of the pot.
From dailydot.com -
"In the 43-second clip, she slowly pulled large brown spiders out of her pot of crawfish.
In the background of the video, her child asked, 'Where did those spiders come from.'"
Yep, that's the exact question we're asking.
The video instantly went viral, racking up almost 10 million views almost as soon as it was posted.
The crawfish were reportedly purchased at a restaurant called Shrimp Dock.
Shrimp Dock has several locations throughout Tennessee.

Replying to a comment on the original video, Archelle says that "they (Shrimp Dock) have been importing them lately … & they carelessly don’t purge them cause they in a hurry to make a profit.”
In an update according to dailydot.com, the woman says “Yes. I got them from the Shrimp Dock. I purchased 10 pounds. They were $14 a pound. They were cold when we made it home. We warm them up in a pot.”
So she spent over $140 for cold crawfish that were full of huge spiders...certainly she was able to get a refund, right?
When she asked for a refund, the restaurant allegedly only offered her in-store credit.
How much are cooked spiders per pound?
