- Effective at 5 p.m. September 10, the following Louisiana State Parks will close ahead of the approaching severe weather impacts from Tropical Storm Francine. These parks will remain closed through Thursday, September 12, 2024:

After the severe weather threat has passed and park staff assess storm damage at the sites and we will provide an update on reopening. All reservations during the closure are canceled.
