Broussard, Louisiana Police Arrest 62-Year-Old Woman After She Allegedly Shot at Car
A 62-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday, August 27th in Broussard, Louisiana after she allegedly shot at a vehicle, according to the Broussard Police Department.
Around 2:30 pm, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Robicheaux Road about a complaint that a vehicle had been shot at.
After investigating the incident, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and the vehicle. However, while attempting to execute the search warrants, a brief standoff occurred.
The suspect was quickly apprehended and taken into custody with the assistance of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office SWAT Team.

“Officers responded to the residence where the suspect vehicle was located. While attempting to execute the search warrants, there was a brief standoff and the suspect was taken into custody,” Broussard police said.
The suspect was identified as Stephania Arabie. She was charged with attempted second-degree murder and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
The incident remains under investigation.
